Music Sales Makes Deal With Mute Song Ltd.

Music Sales Corporation has signed a deal with London-based Mute Song to represent its publishing catalog in the United States and Canada.  As sub-publisher of Mute Song, Music Sales adds yet further dimension to its own extensive and ever-burgeoning catalog.  “Our creative team is very enthusiastic about the possibilities of exploiting the eclectic array of fantastic music in Mute Song,” says Barrie Edwards, President of Music Sales.  “Mute Song is thrilled to be working with Music Sales in North America,” says Andrew King, Mute Song’s General Manager.  “Their solid rights administration team on the east coast and dynamic creative exploitation team on the west coast are exactly what we need.  Our catalog is unique within Music Sales and this should work very well for both companies.”  Featured in Mute Song’s catalog is a veritable wealth of rock, pop, electronica, punk, post-punk, contemporary classical, art-rock, indie/alternative rock, jazz, techno, and more.  Highlights include:
