Dianne Reeves has been one of the preeminent contemporary jazz vocalists ever since her signing with legendary jazz label Blue Note in 1987. Her earlier experience working with Sergio Mendes and touring with Harry Belafonte set the stage for her emergence as a leader in the jazz scene. The only artist to have garnered the Grammy for “Best Jazz Vocal Performance” in three consecutive years, Reeves picked up her fourth Grammy for her work on the Good Night, and Good Luck soundtrack in 2006. A standout at major jazz festivals, Reeves is as renowned for her scat-laced live performances as for her lyrical interpretations on her many memorable recordings.
